Hot Flow
This hatha based class involves a variety of postures, breath work and sun salutations; designed to cleanse and rejuvenate your entire body. The heat warms and relaxes your body, promotes a deeper and safer stretch, and also facilitates the release of toxins; bringing the body into a more balanced state. Regular practice of hot yoga can increase muscle tone, burn fat, increase flexibility, strengthen the immune system, improve sleeping, and support a vibrant health and well-being. Suitable for all levels of experience. Class time 1 hour
Hot Power!
Practiced in a hot room, this invigorating class allows students to explore their balance, strength, and flexibility. The sun salutation series is incorporated into the dynamic flow of postures (shorter rest periods than a typical hatha class). The heat warms and relaxes your body, promotes a deeper and safer stretch, and also facilitates the release of toxins; bringing the body into a more balanced state. Regular practice of hot yoga can increase muscle tone, burn fat, increase flexibility, strengthen the immune system, improve sleeping, and support a vibrant health and well-being. The class is 1hour and 15min ? the first hour being quite vigorous/active, and the last 15minutes are spent in more passive, relaxing postures. Previous yoga experience is recommended. Class time 1 hour 15 minutes
Beginner Yoga
This class is great for those who are new to yoga. The same sequence of basic yoga postures, yogic breathing techniques and relaxation will be followed each class. The repetition prevents new students from becoming overwhelmed and allows them to become very familiar with about fifteen poses. Handouts describing each of the yoga poses will aid home practice. Yin Yang Yoga
Bring balance back into your yoga practice by combining the heating, energizing elements of a yang practice alongside the cooling, restorative elements of a yin practice. The class moves from active sun salutations and standing postures to more passive and contemplative seated postures designed to increase flexibility by targeting the deep connective tissue. Class time 1 hour 30 min
Mom and Baby Yoga
You did it! You have nurtured your baby through pregnancy and have given birth to a beautiful baby – congratulations! Mom & baby yoga classes provide an opportunity for you to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby in an enjoyable activity and to make friends with other moms. The focus of the class is on movements and breathing specifically tailored for new moms. The babies benefit from the bonding time with mom, baby massages and the stimulating environment of new baby friends! Special attention is placed on developing core strength and stability – involving a particular emphasis on strengthening the back, abdomen and pelvic floor, as well as relieving tension in areas such as the neck, shoulders and back. Previous yoga experience is not necessary to fully benefit from the classes, and women who have practiced yoga before will find these classes are a great way to transition back to their pre-pregnancy practice. Relax and Renew Yoga
Deep stretching and breath work are the basis for this rewarding and enjoyable class. The slower paced approach is an excellent balance for our busy lives. Great after a long day at work or for anyone looking to relax and renew. Suitable for all levels of experience. Class time 1 hour
Hatha Gentle Yoga
With a focus on linking breath to movement and noticing sensations in the body, this dynamic class will gently open the body and restore balance and harmony. Whether recovering from illness or injury, or just looking to release stress and tension from the body, this class will offer options to suit you Class time 1 hour
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is also known as the Yoga of Awareness. It is a system combining breathing, movement, stretching, the use of sound and mantra, relaxation and meditation. Each class usually entails spine and flexibility warm-ups, a specific kriya, and a relaxation and meditation. In Kundalini Yoga our focus is on self-awareness and awakening to our full potential. Students find that true strength comes from within. We want to go beyond muscular strength alone, to faith in the flow of spirit. Prenatal Yoga
A class designed specifically to nurture and support women during all stages of pregnancy. Poses are safely adapted for pregnancy, providing opportunities for strengthening, stretching, and restoring the pregnant body, mind, and spirit. Class time 1 hour 15 min
